Transcending the Narrative is a community-based research zine that contains stories, words, and art from Two Spirit, transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming (2TNG) people in Alberta. The zine summarizes experiences and trans wisdoms that emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic and focuses on 2TNG mental health and digital worldbuilding. Journey through diverse narratives of restriction, reconnection, and resistance, and celebrate an archive of our collective strength, a testament to trans-joy, and a record of our refusal to crumble.
